FINANCIAL PEACE UNIVERSITY IS HERE!
Imagine yourself DEBT-FREE!!! Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University is a biblically-based, video driven small group study that teaches families to beat debt, build wealth and give like never before! If you’d like to attend the free preview on Sunday, August 31st, from 12:30-1:30pm, call the church office. Groups will begin meeting here on Sundays from 4-6pm starting September 14th. BAPTISM BURGER BASH!
Everyone is invited to join us at the Westbrook’s home (23741 Morning Glory Dr., Murrieta) on Sunday, September 7th at 12:30 pm to support those proclaiming their faith through baptism! Burgers, hot dogs, chips, & drinks will be served. We’re hoping for at least 150 of you to come! Also, if you would like to be baptized, please come… We’ll do an on-site baptism class for anyone who wants to be baptized. Just plan on having lunch after church that Sunday with your church family!

LifeGroups
God’s best for His church includes life-giving relationships where we can pray for each other and really get to know one another. That’s what LifeGroups are for! On Sunday, September 7th we’ll have LifeGroups sign-ups - with 18 groups to choose from. Please be praying about which group might work for you. MomSpace
Hey Moms! Have you signed up for MomSpace yet? If you are mom of a kindergarten age child or younger (pregnant ladies included!), MomSpace is the place for you! Gatherings are the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month, from 9:30 to 11:15am. Our first meeting is on September 9th, so register soon! There will be a light brunch, incredible speakers, fun crafts, and great fellowship. Also, our childcare is staffed with wonderful, experienced moms so your child will be well cared for while you relax and enjoy our meetings! Don’t miss out! We would like to get you assigned to a table and get your child assigned to the appropriate childcare room - so visit us at the MomSpace table after services on Sunday. LAMB’S 101 MEMBERSHIP CLASS
If you have been coming to Lamb’s for a while and want to make Lamb’s your official church home, we want you to come to our membership class, Lamb’s 101, on Sunday, September 14th, from 1:00-4:00pm. We’ll take some time to talk through our mission, vision, theology, and strategy and get to know each other better. Please RSVP for Lamb’s 101 by contacting the church office. WOMEN’S MINISTRY
Ladies, our theme this year is radiance – because those who look to the Lord are… Radiant! Our Women’s Bible Study will be starting Monday, September 15th. You can register on Monday Morning, 9-10:30am (Childcare available) or Monday night, 7-8:30pm. The study is an inspiring journey through scripture called “Loved by God”, by Liz Curtis Higgs. ANNUAL CELEBRATION CHILI COOK-OFF
It’s time for our official annual meeting – but we don’t want a boring meeting! We want to have some fun and celebrate all we see God doing. So, on Saturday, September 20th from 5:30 to 7:30pm we’ll be doing just that. We’ll start out with a potluck-style chili dinner outside at 5:30; the kids are invited; they’ll have fun and games outside along with all of us. At 6:30 we’ll bring our gathering inside for our official annual business – but we know that that is going to be a blast too, because we have much to celebrate! Everyone is invited; we’ll vote for our new Board candidates, review our last year’s financials, present our new fiscal year budget, and celebrate what God is doing among us! BOARD NOMINEES
We received 14 nominations for the two open Board of Administration positions. We are grateful for the willingness of so many to serve. After much prayer and consideration, we present the following two candidates to you, the Body, for your review. You will be asked to vote your approval or disapproval for these candidates at our annual meeting. Please feel free to contact these candidates if you have any specific questions for them.
CANDIDATE 1 – Larry Sandberg
Larry is a scientist, University professor, family physician, Orphanage director, and life-long missionary. He will bring a wealth of wisdom, experience and humility to our board.
CANDIDATE 2 – Karen Robertson
Karen is a life-long school teacher, and a master trainer of teachers. She has stewarded high levels of leadership in the public education system. She previously directed our building fund campaign. She is an entrepreneur and a LifeCoach, and has lived in the Murrieta area longer than about 90,000 of the rest of us!
